Kana Kudo
Kana acquired both the Basic Early Childhood Education license as well as the Infant/Toddler & Special Needs license. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology of which she have been able to apply throughout her career. She has since accumulated 10+ years happily working with children and families in a professional capacity. Kana enjoys everyday learning with children through play by experimenting, sharing, counting, singing, dancing, chasing, reading, making a mess (creative art), sometimes crying, and anything else you can think of!

Addison Bird
Teacher
Addison graduated from CYC, Child and Youth Counselling from Loyalist College in 2016. In addition, she has also graduated from ECEA with Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute. Addison is a nurturing, patient, playful educator that treasures creativity and nature. Addison has a strong passion of working with children and providing an engaging environment that enhances children’s knowledge, skills and curiosity. The majority of Addison’s career has been spent working in Play-based learning environments where children are encouraged to create, explore and discover.

Debra Dawes
Teacher
Debra graduated with her ECE diploma from Langara and Vancouver Community College in 1997. Previously, she also studied music therapy at Capilano College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. The majority of Debra’s career has been spent enjoying working with children in various centres in Vancouver, and also in Toronto where she was born and raised. Weaving musical elements into many classroom activities is a hallmark of Debra’s style, providing a fun and engaging gateway for children to explore the world around them.
